Hejduk or Horton
I have two trade offers for James Neal. Team A gives me Horton and Team B gives me Hejduk.
Which offer would you accept?-
honestly i'd like to see hejduk produce and produce big and his plus minus get cleaned up i'd pick him up on all my teams he is a free agent in most leagues

Hey, regardless of how Horton and Hejduk wind up this season, at least the original poster started a thread that prompted some debate!
So...do we all agree to come back here in mid-April and brag about / sulk about the results? ;)- 1 Reply to Shaun

count me in! hahaha
for the record, i hate colorado and hejduk.
-
hahahaha you or someone was saying hejduk is injury prone and never plays a full season. 71.6666 and 71.3333 are pretty equal.
and are you actually using the "On pace" logic???? hahahaha so brian rafalski is going to finish the season with 0 goals and 82 assists? and stamkos will get 76-64-141??
you're a joke lol -
i'm not saying hejduk is bad its just that he is on the decline, he may however bounce back he has the skills look at selanne but my money is on horton. 75 points will be no problem for horton if he stays healthy and if he can get a healthy savard for 30 games this year maybe even higher - example phil kessel - i love that situation and boston fans its looking like another top 5 draft pick this year compliments of TO make belief's. me personally horton is my man going forward

comparing hejduk to selanne is like comparing horton to someone who is capable of getting 75 points. hejduk and selanne are 6 years apart. let's keep the decision between horton or hejduk. if you want a 55-60 point player, take horton
-
Horton without question.
Look for Hejduk continue his tradition of going on an encouraging streak, then going on a huge slump, arriving at 55 points at the end of the season, with very few PIMs to boot.- 1 Reply to Shaun

this is a valid argument if Horton had ever cracked 65 points but he hasnt even. horton, last 3 years has averaged 71.3333 games/season whereas hejduk last 3 years has averaged 71.6666. provide some numbers to back up your points

Hejduk. Horton who??? Hejduk plays around 19-20 min/game, gets lots of shots on goal, substantial PP time, plus he plays on Colorado who is tops in the league in scoring/games played

I would take Horton any day. Just my 2 cents....

are you serious? for the extra pp and shots his plus minus will drag you way down, that is if he stays healthy, horton is just settling into boston and his PPG is better than hejduk, wait til they find the right combination for him (savard is a month away), most leagues i am in horton is a coveted right wing and hejduk is a free agent. horton will also help with the pim as well he is not afraid to go into a corner and rough it up
-
horton - without a doubt = hejduk who???? he'll either disappear or get injured again and his plus minus is dreadful
