Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Tim Connelly was dropped and cleared waivers. I thought he might be a good pick up. Should I drop one of these guys for him, or even better, can you suggest a 2 for 1 trade and then I can grab him?

I disagree 100% with James F's advice.
Keeping Savard costs you nothing, and the upside is potentially huge if he comes back next month. Keep him unless/until you need the IR spot for another player.
Your goaltending looks solid to me, with two definite starters. I know that many people are thinking Bernier will take over the top spot in L.A., but there's truly nothing to suggest that at this point. Mason is a starter and Ellis will split time with Smith. Nothing wrong with that, especially if you're in a roto or points-based league.
As for your original question...if you have an IR spot free, then Connolly could be worth it. Otherwise, virtually all of the forwards on your team are producing right now (with the possible exception of Wolski). If anything, you could use another defenseman for security.
Pretty good team overall, in my opinion.

Well, I can hold onto Savard and stick him on the IR without taking up a roster spot for now.
Second, it only shows Quick on my bench because we can change our lineup daily. Quick doesn't play today, so he's just chilling.
I agree another goalie would be nice. Let's say I make a package of a couple guys - who could those guys be and who could I target?!
Help me out guys, I'm a fantasy sophomore and only made 1 trade last year! I don't really know the ins and outs of them!
How do you have Ellis - the backup in TB - starting over Quick? Dump Ellis, even for Smith, or trade him plus Kopecky/Wolski for a better goalie to someone who doesn't follow hockey, and then grab Connelly.
Not worth it. You already have Ennis on your team. I suggest trading up to get a better goalie. quick is decent, how long I don't know, mason so so, and ellis yeesh.
