Dany Heatley
Alex Burrows
Marian Gaborik
Jarome Iginla
Rene Bourque
Sergei Gonchar
Brian Rafalski
Roberto Luongo
Pekka Rinne
Bourque seems the easy call, but he's a pretty solid cross-category guy that's getting top-line time with Iginla - yay/nay?-

I would go Gonchar or Rafalski, depending on your views of each. I like Gonchar to be more productive, but of course the injury risk is there. Considering the number of young defenseman that seem to be cropping up and producing each year (some earlier than expected e.g. Myers, or even Doughty, who would've thunk he'd be this good this quickly), I think you can afford to cut one of these guys. With only 8 keepers, I would assume (depending on the league depth), that there will be a good number of decent defensemen to draft.

I've gotta agree with Gino there. Cut Rafalski, he's pushing 40. If you really want him back he'll probably be available in the draft next year.

Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated. Is anyone concerned about Gonchar possibly being elsewhere next year? Obviously his value takes a huge hit if he's not with the Pens.

I would cut Rafalski, and then maybe try and trade Bourque for a Defensemen next year since you only have Gonchar left
lots of good young defensemen will be successful next season, and Bourque is a great all around player thats only going to get better.
