Trade Ethics, help!
Situation: I was recently offered a lopsided trade that benefitted me. Trade was vetoed at the last minute by the other league owners. I do not know the other owner and we've had no previous communication. We're both within a few points of each other, battling for final playoff spots. Question: Do the other owners have the right to veto a trade they simply deem as lopsided without proof or serious suspicion of collusion?

This is a huge trade. You come out on top easily. But this is not veto worthy.
Let your league commish know that HE offered YOU the trade. Assure the league there are no shenanigans on your part, then let the commish do his job. Gently remind him that his #1 job in the league is to make it run smooth and be active. A veto like this tends to freeze up all trading a league as people tend to be vindictive and wield the veto like hammer, instead of the scalpel.- 1 Reply to Michael

Not veto worthy. If that player needs the goalie stats then yes.
If the guy getting Brodeur already had Luongo, Bryzgalov and Miller then I would veto no question.

Sure, Everyones in to win. Keeping another manager from improving his/her team ups the odds of winning.

Thats when you get managers who cheat and make lopsided trades to try and come out of the bottom.
