    Daniel Sedin for Patrick Marleau

What do you think of this trade? I have both Sedins and a total of 4 Canucks. I'd like to reduce the amount that I have plus I could use a guy who is more solid with goals and PPG. I think I can come up with positive and negative arguments on this trade so I can't really make up my mind if it's worth making the proposal. I would like to hear some opinions please.

    Thanks.

    • You can try but it might be difficult to get a guy with 34 goals already. It's worth a shot, especially since it helps diversify your roster and Sedin is hot. Marleau is actually heating up a bit as well (13pts in 10 games, 9 of them goals), and there's nothing to suggest he will slow down (history doesn't show a pattern). I think it will come down to the other manager's needs - what would be his incentive to trade him?

    • No. I'd keep Daniel, he's getting more points-per-game than marleau, and marleau has slowed down as of late. Henrik/Danny/Burr has been proven to be one of the best lines in the NHL.

And if those four canucks you have consist of Henrik, Daniel and Burrows plus another (Kesler/Sammy/Raymond) then you're gold. If anything, you should shoot for an allstar for Daniel, rather than Marleau.
