Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
sounds like youve got to do a lot of convincing yourself that Dats is gonna get valuable...I dont really understand all of the lack of faith in Gaborik, a guy who is vying for the league lead in goals. It sounds like your asking if "This would fly if I offered it" kind of deals, and it wont.
I like it because Eriksson is way better than Vermette and has LW, RW eligibility. Plus, Datsyuk likely has a lot of points left in him this year. He has 34 points in 42 games. Look for something like 45-50 points in his next 38 games (he missed 2 with injury already).
i think its an excellent trade for you. Only a matter of time before gabby gets injured and if you look at the split stats for the past few seasons datsyuk always lights it up in the second half.
Don't be a sap.
That's a horrible trade. Vermette can be had as a free agent in most leagues and Datsyuk is stinking up the ice by his past standards.
Someone thinks you are a fool and if you make that trade you are.

Messed up the Vermette part. Erickson and Vermette are both just filler.
You are basically trading Datsyuk for Gaborik. That's like trading a brand new Porsch (Gaborik) for a 2001 Ford Fiesta with 1500000 miles (Datsyuk).
ARE YOU KIDDING????
Like I said...someone thinks you are really stupid even offering that deal. DOn't be a fool.
