After reading Ovech "apology" for his latest dirty playing and his coach saying hes "satifsied" with his play
both Ovech and Boudreau should be fined and suspended
for the rest of the season!!!
To allow such aplayer to intimidate and injure other players
is inexcusable and if the coach condones such play than
there is no choice but to rid them from the NHL i dont care if Ovech is suposedly the # 1 player he certainly doesnt act like it with his no class bullie tactics!!!! We will see if the NHL
can control this menace but I doubt it
Mark 51 Male NYC, you are just jealous man. He didn't intend to hurt or try to hurt Gleason. Plus Ovie got hurt so I think just that alone will get him to change his style of play a bit, cuz he said he will not change but we'll see. Ovie is the #1 player and I would take him before ANYBODY ELSE on my team, he is dynamic, fast, strong player and he goes and carries the puck. Plus he shoots like crazy. Its not like he deliberately stuck out his knee, Gleason cut in front of him and Ovie didnt have time to react to stop.

if it was an "accident" why was Ovech fined and suspended
just because the NHL is jealous of him!!!
get real even the NHL is finally finally realizing he is a menace!!!
but can he be controlled by fines and or paltry suspensions
that " anger" the idiot mark my words this is not the last "accidental" incident involving him this season I just hope
hes the one hurt and not innocents he trys to bully and intimidate!!!
i hear ya... but if i were famous in another country I wouldnt talk bad about that country...
there's a difference between your average non american talking bad about america & a famous non american person talking bad about america...
if you've ever lived abroad more than two weeks...
it's americans bashing russians. canadians bashing americans. brits bashing french. chinese bashing brits. aussies accusing kiwis of sheep-buggering. c'mon, complaining about other countries is sport and entertainment.
wouldn't worry too much about dumb things Ovechkin says. he's a rich punk who doesn't know shit about anything except fast cars, women, and hockey.
but nobody bashes canadians too much. mostly, not enough of them to get upset at.
hahahah thats too funny. Clearly you any haters of that knee on knee collision have never played an actual game of high speed contact hockey. When a player make a quick move like that its your normal instinct to try and slow him down. Ovi would not have intentionally done that because it inflicts to must damage to his own body, clearly. Ovi is one of the most intense and talented players to ever come through the league, and he demonstrates this night in night out. Suspending Ovechkin for any length of time would change many opinions on the type of product the NHL is trying to display. His talent and intensity displays pure entertainment to watch him play, and do whatever it takes to score goals and win games
