Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
i'm 9th in a 13 team league and have made the most moves so far to end up with what i have here. I want to win so what should my next move be - drop + pickup a FA, who? try to trade my way up, who? sit tight and see what happens with who I have? - i will have to do something when Bourque is off IR.

I'm trying to deal Sharp but no one seems to want him. I'm in a small league (6) with the guys at work and we have teams full of all-stars.
I have heard Sharp will be dealt prior to Christmas too.
I guess my question is - what kind of numbers do you see Sharp putting up by the end of the year? It might be a tough question if we assume he's getting traded. Is he worth holding on to for the season or should I keep trying to deal him in a package for an elite defenseman? I need defense :(
Here is my team:
Michael Del Zotto
An owner in my league has grown tired of Iginla and Steve Mason?
Who could I give to get them, I'm trying to buy low right now.
should i pick up leclaire and drop briere/michalek???
or should i drop khabby and pick him up??
im thinking of dropping michalek for him but i dont know how well he will play once he return....

i would not drop briere or michalek for leclaire. if elliot plays well, leclaire may be out of a job for the 2nd season in a row. khabby is on a horrible team this year id cut ties with him.

toughest question thus far. ultimately i think you did the right thing. sharp hasnt come on to the scene aside for scoring nearly 40 goals a few years back. seto has the potential to put up more points, but also to fall to the 2nd year slump. high risk high reward i like it.
Should I accept this trade? I get Nabby, Vanek, and Green
I give Lundqvist, Malkin and Neal
Also I just did a trade and i got Jamie Langeunbrunner and Eric Staal
I gave Patrice Bergeron and Maxim Afinogenov

very close deal and id do it ONLY if you need more depth. otherwise malkin and lundquist should bring in a bit more. as fair as the trade you completed, great job he didnt see that one coming.
