    Big 6-player trade!

    Team A gets:
    B. Gionta (MTL)
    J. Pavelski (SJ)
    T. Vanek (BUF)

    Team B gets:
    M. Cammalleri (MTL)
    E. Staal (CAR)
    A. Hemsky (EDM)

12 team head-to-head league, with standard stats. Who wins, and why?

    • Here is my team, before the trade:

      Thornton, Pavelski, Plekanec, Stastny

      van Riemsdyk, Heatley, Vanek, Neal

      Briere, Sharpe, Gionta

Still think I should do it?

    • personally...i'd take B
not by a huge margin though, and only because of the higher risk for higher reward

camm > gionta IMO....more goals....they'l probably have pretty similar stats though
hemsky>vanek....both have injury risks but i like hemsky more
      curently, staal < pavelski.....but should be staal>>>>>>>pavelski
winning on the other 2, not a huge loss in pavelski to get the potential that staal brings

      cool beans

    • I'm basically Team B in this scenario. I feel ok giving up Gionta because I get a better Hab in Cammy (both the other GM and I are HUGE Habs fans). I already have Thornton and Heatley in SJ, don't really want to overdo it with Pavelski. I just know that Staal will light it up when he returns (he has to, right?). My only question mark is Vanek for Hemsky. Thoughts?

      • I think that Vanek is always a goal scoring threat, but I see your point of view by having too many Sharks.

It's a big weakness to have too many players from one team in your squad.

I think that you'll probably see more goals out of the pair, and Staal will definitely pick up his game as the season progresses and he returns from injury. I mean, Carolina just can't do any worse.
