i'm in a 20 team h2h league which gives points for G, A, SOG, PIM, +/-, SAV%, and Wins. My team is as follows:
1. (16) Miikka Kiprusoff
2. (25) Martin Brodeur
3. (56) Daniel Alfredsson
4. (65) David Krejci
5. (96) Brian Rafalski
6. (105) Mikko Koivu
7. (136) Brian Gionta
8. (145) David Perron
9. (176) Vaclav Prospal
10. (185) Kimmo Timonen
11. (216) Patrick Sharp
12. (225) Erik Johnson
13. (256) Michael del Zotto
14. (265) Curtis Glencross
15. (296) Jason Williams
Other teams in my league are struggling with goaltending and I'm wondering if it might be worth making a trade like:
Brodeur + Gionta for Mason (StL) + Kane
I am also unhappy with Perron's play and I think that as long as he stays on this line, he won't be racking up the points any time soon.
Any recommendations?- 1 Reply to craig

To be honest id still be asking much more for Brodeur due to his Hall-of-Fame pedigree
While Kane is good you're really hurting at all forward positions
Picks 3-5 havent panned out for you at all. I think you need to try and trade Prospal while hes hot and you can get a serious return for him. Maybe you could package a 2 for 3 deal where you get back 1 top tier forward, 1 risk "over-performing" forward and a solid goal tender
You defense is very solid in my mind but your forwards really need to be reworked.

I dont know man, Vanek has a TON of goal scoring upside and his team seems to have found an identity with Stafford, MacArthur, Conolloy and Hecht all finding their games
I dont really like what ive seen so far from Jacques Lamaire's NJD I dont think this is a good trade for you, especially with Toews

I got one more trade proposal i have come across
Lecavakier, Versteeg, Tom Gilbert
for
Giroux, Frolik, Bouwmeester, 1st round pick in 2010
who u think takes this one? -
yeah sorry I was watching the end of the Texas/Oklahoma game, and putting in a load of laundry

i need advice, I was offered Elias and kovalev for okposo and a first round pic in 2010, i should finish pretty high so my pick would be a late one. should i do it?

Wait im confused so you get their first round pick and your first round pick?
I think id definitely do this, it depends on your keeper rules
Kovalev will not be his usual self, hes still trying to find his way in that system in Ottawa. I also have been staying away from all Devils since Jacques Lamaire came in, even though he said he wouldn't run a trap-style system, he still is, and its not benficial to offensive players like Elias.
As long as Tavares is playing well Okposo will continue to be pushed to play better and Moulson is coming into his own, so I really like that line there.
You cant pass up having 2 first round selections dude, especially if all your're really loosing is Elias

Hey guys, sorry I left last night around 7PM to catch a showing of Where The Wild Things Are.
In my opinion the movie sucked, and to lament the wasting of 8 dollars, I went out and got drunk for free, so im not back, answering your questions...
I do have to say, im not the best for sit/start questions, but you can try me, take my advice with a grain of salt in that way because its really a game of luck, I think.- 1 Reply to dtickle
