Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I like to think I know a pretty good bit about hockey, so if you have a trade question, waiver wire, or anything else, ask away here. Of course, in the end of the day, its all just my opinion, but I'm used to giving advice to everyone in my own league, as well as other people.
I'm doing this from work, so if it does take me a little to respond, dont worry, I still will.
Dont forget, if you're asking a trade question, please post rosters of your team as well as the team you're trading with.
and Good luck this season!
Folks, my roster contains the following DMen. Pronger, Campbell, Timonen, and Vlasic. I also carry Grebeshkov either on the bench or as a Util player. Unhappy with the way Vlasic's been playing I dropped him. To my suprise a couple nice DMen were still available. I narrowed my choices down to T. Kaberle, and E. Johnson. Which one should i take?
I have Vanek, Lucic, and Clowe.
Looking to drop Clowe for someone. I went through the FA pool and found this hand full of guys available. First off would you drop Clowe for any of these guys? If so who. Also PIMs is not a category in this league.
I'm weak at RW, but which Player(s) do you think would be an acceptable offer to land either Kane or Semin?
Here's my roster: (non-keeper league)
LW: Ovechkin, Whitney, Kariya
C: M.Richards, H.Sedin, macDonald(c/lw), Horton(c/rw)
RW: Kovalev, Dumont
D: Chara, Widemen, E.Johnson, Neidermayer
G: Luongo, Miller, Leclaire
The guy who has semin is really weak in G, so my initial thought was maybe Miller & Kovalev for Semin...is that too much, too little? What else do u think?
THanks a bunch.

Personally, i think you'd have to offer something more than that. You might give up a little in order to get Semin, and you seem ok at center, Id maybe just go all out and give him an offer he cant refuse. Sedin and Miller for semin. I know it seems like a bit much, but C is pretty deep, and you can make up for your scoring loss with semin, *if he stays healthy*

Yahoo! only updates this when the team itself updates. Alot of times, teams wont place a guy on IR unless they are trying to clear cap space.
Id keep an eye out on the SJ team site and NHL site to see if/when the place him on IR.

well, if you really want laich, which remember, its only a hot start that can be seen right now, id have to drop Staal.
LW, id drop michalek, not sure if he got injured last night from a stick to the face, but I like what hartnell brings if your league counts PIM as well.
