Look good? i think i am robbing this guy.
Actually don't think this is one-sided, and also it depends on your scoring categories and type of league. Let's look by position:
You give: Jokinen, Kopitar
You receive: Backstrom, Sedin
On the surface, you get the better centres, but it all depends on whether Jokinen and Kopitar can play up to expectations. Realistically I have them at least 70pts but 80 is possible. Backstrom and Sedin will give you more assists and probably a few more PP points but don't think it's that significant. Jokinen and Kopitar - more goals, SOG and PIM. Edge for consistency - you - but if expectations are met for J/K and those categories count, then even.
You give: Kovalchuk, Eriksson
You receive: Vanek, Cammalleri
You are giving the best player, but his +/- won't be great. However Atlanta should be better so might improve. Eriksson is very underrated, and he should score another 30+. Vanek is a sniper and I like him - 40+ is realistic but team isn't very good so might have to carry alot. Cammalleri great year last season but Montreal more defensive so tough to repeat. I call that a draw.
You give: Setoguchi
You receive: Kovalev
Two guys that could be boom or bust. Seto depending on what line he's on - Kovalev, will change of scenery help. Not much difference between the two.
To be honest, there isn't much difference between the two sides and it all depends on your categories and settings and what the rest of your roster looks like.
You may come out on top but not by much. Big trade for early in the season.
