I'd love to receive the Nash side of that one BUT in my leagues the test isn't whether I think someone wins the trade, its whether I think there is collusion. Here you haven't mentioned collusion just presented the trade.

Do I think some people might see this as fair or even a win for the other side?? Perhaps.

      I think

Nash> Tanguay but lots of people are predicting a monster season for Tangs so the gap may not be THAT wide

Phaneuf> Little But this is harder to call since both seem to be predicted to do well this year and Phaneuf is coming off a so-so season

      and to me

Varlamov> Biron -- I know Varlamov is a risk but he is likely to platoon or even start on a very good team while Biron is most likely a backup on the Isles

So in sum I would not veto unless there was other evidence or reason to believe there is collusion

Too often you see managers making the call - this I think will make other teams stronger and it doesn't help me - and they can't veto soon enough. I would also say that the Nash side wins this trade hands down on the merits of the trade itself. But we know nothing about the strenghts and weaknesses of the two teams making the trade,.. So how can you say whether or not it would benefit both.? The guy trading Nash.. what does he have in left wing? Maybe he is a fanboy of one of the players on the other side of the trade. Nobody seems to have asked the traders for their reason for trading, which would have to be done before screaming colussion..

I'd ask you to do more research and and give more information with the question you pose - the rest of the two teams trading are necessary to see what weaknesses etc they are trying to compensate for.

I think it is crap. The team giving up Nash does not seem to benefit in any way other than picking up an extra forward. If that's the case, I am sure there is someone they could drop to pick up a good forward. While I am not the first to veto and cool with letting things go, I think this is crap. Nash and Phaneuff will do much better than Tanguay and Little as a group. The wildcard is Varmalov. That kid could step up and stomp, he has the possibility. But as of yet, at face value, Biron is a better bet than Simeon. Bad trade.

I like the trade...little is going to explode this year...he'll probably almost match nash's numbers if he plays with Kovalchuk, and I watch phanuef a lot to know he is a bit over rated and will bouwmeesters addition help him or take away from his play??

      Definitely not vetoable.
