Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
He is offering me:
Brenden Morrow - LW
Brent Burns - D
Saku Koivu - C
Cristobal Huet - G
For my youngsters
John Tavares - C
Victor Hedman - D
Evander Kane - LW
Pekka Rinne - G
I don't think this is a keeper league
But anyways, thoughts?
I would accept that deal in a second.
Morrow > Kane
Burns > Hedman (this year anyways)
Koivu = Tavaras
Huet = Rinne
I would say Rinne and Huet are equal.. Rinne is on Nashville not Columbus like someone said above.. I believe Rinne is a great option but Huet (depending on your other goalies) should keep you competitive and you win on 2 of the other players.
Take the Deal
Boys you can't be serious - Rinne is one of the top starters in the league - Huet is no where near as consistent and Columbus has a more defensive minded team - Rinne for sure.
Hedman is turning many heads so far and has far more upside than Burns - give Hedman the nod on the D choices.
Saku has seen his best days gone past, Tavares on the Isle may not give you a whole lot more than Saku - but he won't hurt you neither. The only clear winner in the offer is Morrow over Kane - but the other three make it worth the deal.
