I think you misunderstood. I never claimed Selanne was doing better than Langenbrunner currently. My assertion was that Selanne is the better player. I never, ever drop a talented player for a guy on a hot streak. In my experience, most managers who do that end up with someone like Aaron Voros or Steve Ott, and guys like that never do anyone any good in the long run. And on that note, I would advise anyone against picking up Ott for the same reasons as Langenbrunner. Both are mediocre players on a temporary hot streak. I actually should have used Ott as the reference in my previous post as a comparison since Kesler is actually a talented player.

As far as proving me wrong, think again. The guy had 7G, 2A, 9Pts in a 5 game streak, which is exactly what I said it was, a temporary streak. And to repeat again, since his last goal, he has three assists in three games, one against ATL (he didn't even score against the worst team in the league in a 5-1 win and only managed one assist on 5 goals), ZERO points against LA (another terrible team), and one legitimate assist against a goalie with the flu and one empty net assist @ NYR.

So, if going from 7-2-9 in 5, to 0-3-3 in 3 (0-2-2 in 3 if we don't count an empty net) doesn't actually PROVE my point, I don't know what does.
