Its close. two weeks ago, i would have said backstrom easily. But in the newyear, backstrom has slowed down since semin returned. I thought he would get bettter, but it hasnt seemed like it. Versteeg has looked good since the winter classic. But is this just a hot streak for him, or slump for backstrom or both. Id say backstrom is the safe choice, because of his linemates, but versteeg has potential.
