The issue is that.. Roster 1 is willing to trade Backstrom (G) but in return they want Crosby. So... what should Roster 1 add to Backstrom in order to make it fair and get crosby
PS: I am Roster 2 and I want a good trade if im gna be giving up crosby

I don't think he would go for that cause Markov and Phanuef are some what even to one another and Markov has more points at the moment. Try this if you like it Langkow and Backstrom for Crosby. Since you are in a small league I'm sure you know that you can go from first to 3rd in 1 week so if I where you I would only change 1 big player of yours cause the change you make could hurt your team more than you think.
What kind of league? Not that it matters the following book applies to both Roto and H2H as far as I'm concerned.
Considering your C core you can afford to loose Crosby for a goalie in Backstrom's situation. I would forget about Datsyuk or Zetterberg, that is reaching, but Staal is a thought. You may have to tack on another above average player who is hot right now in a position he needs improvement, but that would make the deal worth it to me.
Try sending Crosby and either Kozlov or Versteeg to him for Backstrom and Staal.
That sounds palatable... but Im still not sure I would do it, your goalies don't look bad to begin with, and they look far better than Team #1's set up. Nabakov is back, Biron has turned it around and will be #1 from here out, and Auld had quality numbers except for the wins and he's not in any position to loose his job. Nabakov and Biron should help make up for the wins so you're golden.
As for Team #1 Osgood has had as bad a year as any goalie could have in Detroit and has split more time with Conklin than he should have had to, Bryzgalov is on the brink of loosing his job, MacDonald will be a memory in a few weeks when DiPietro gets back, and Huet will only be getting full time duty until Khabibulin is healthy again. The only starter without baggage that he has is Backstrom. Not to mention if he's running with that many goalies, his offensive stats are bottoming out or soon will be, making it that much easier for a powerhouse such as yourself to keep rolling.
Don't be too eager to part with Crosby for a goalie you don't really need.
Now if this is a Points league, forget everything I have said, i hate that format and am terrible at it.
Anyway... Good Luck, hope you enjoyed reading!
