Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Pronger should get at least 50 points this season with great PIM totals. Weber I'm really liking and I only want to trade the guy for a definite upgrade as long as i cash in on this guy, don't want him hanging around for a slump.
Should i offer weber and seabrook for pronger and zubov? Zubov has only 3 assists this season so hopefully he doesn't want the guy anyways. I want to be rid of Seabrook as he doesn't get much on the pp or anywhere other than pim. So he'll see it as gaining two superior players as of current stats, but i think pronger and zubov would put up better in the long run. He also has Coburn, if he might be better to get than Zubov.
I'm would strongly disagree with the above comment...it is nothing close to a "robbery". Shea Weber is the real deal, and I would not be surprised to see him put up 60 points this year. In addition, Zubov is past his prime, although he still gets a ton of minutes and plenty of time on the powerplay.
All in, you still win this deal--while it's hard to pick between Pronger and Weber, Zubov is a definite upgrade over Seabrook. It's just not a landslide like the person above me suggested.
