    • you do lose big!

Lupul (who i have) is not going to have a good year and i'm considering dropping him
      Leclaire is always iffy

You're giving away the best in the game and some really sold guys too, Higgins will post some great numbers with Tanguay and Koivu as linemates

and Sedin? really? he's gonna have another great year

only do it if you're desperate for a goalie, and a second rate one at that

    • define losing big

Sure, he loses out on a Superstar center in Malkin, but he gets rid of marginal players Higgins and, possible, Cheechoo.

He's get a pair of young forwards who can produce, Richards having potential for 80+ pts and plekanecs for between 60 and 80, depending on his linemates. Kovalchuk is one of the rare star LW's if he can start producing (which he should). He loses Henrik, but he'll get around 80 pts, which is replaced by the other centers. He'd probably drop Lupul afterwards and Leclaire is a Tier 2 Goalie when healthy.

I say it all depends on how much you need goaltending and LW's

If so, go for it. You'll lose pts in Malkin bot Kovy can help.

I say this trade can be hard to think about though. But it's good for you and because he get's Malkin, it can't be Veto'ed or rejected without any thought.

    • you lose. big.
