    • Thanks. I did not make this offer. I'll stick with what I have for now.

    • No way would I do this trade.

    • Explain why you would want to do it?

I wouldn't have one Sedin - let alone two on my team, especially with this years Canuck line-up, at least last years could tred on past glories.

Stasny is a gamer - however this years Av's will not be. His points will be about the same or a little better but his plus minus - yikes!

Kovalev; Only a point agame guy 4 times in his career and other than last year the rest were at the begining of this century. I wouldn't count on him to repeat last year - his only true value is his approx 0.70 points per game, his reasonably respectable number of shots and his half decent penalty minutes.

I think this is a bad trade for players that your roster doesn't really need.

    • If you're going to shop Crosby around, do so for a top rung goaltender to compliment Fleury & Huet. With someone like a Lundqvist, Brodeur, Luongo, or Nabokov to go with those two, you'd be pretty hard to beat in goal. Together with Carcillo (read the post from a day or so ago entitled, "goaltending & Carcillo"), you'd have a winning formula. Let all the "points are the most important thing" managers arm wrestle over the Crosbys and Ovechkins, etc., while you quietly mop up the goaltending categories, PIM, and possibly +/- if you focus on that one as well. It CAN be done, and a lot of managers are realizing that they don't need the elite forwards to win. Goaltending, Carcillo, and 1 or 2 aggressive D-men and you could be on your way.

    • let's put it like this... why trade one of your best players for two decent players... i would want best for best... especially when it comes to crosby... i agree with the others only way i would trade crosby is if some idiot gives us ovechkin i don't know who that fool would be lol since ovechkin will score 50-60+ goals this year and have a 100 pt season...

    • Don't trade Crosby, unless it's Ovechkin. He will win the Art Ross, assuming good health.

    • To much should get a better return for Crosby.
