kovalchuk and rolston for nash and gaborik.....

pull the trigger in a heartbeat or is this trade closer than i think it is?

You can get way more!! i just traded Kovalchuk, Perry, Bouchard and Wolski for Thornton, Horton, Vanek and Cheechoo ... shoot for Thornton hes the best second half player

Any trade would be good, but I like trades 2 and 3 the most. I'm leaning a little more to trade 3 though as Lidstrom's production is just ridiculous for a d-man and gives you a huge edge in defense...I might be a little biased because I own Lidstrom.

Trade 2 is still very good as Frolov is a PPG guy again.

no i agree with that......he's still uncomfortable with wearing the brace.....but its just been a rough stretch over the past 3 weeks with him, and if i can get something of quality in return for him now, i think i would do it, rather than wait for his value to possibly plummet more.

i think you're forgetting that Kovie tweaked his knee and that's why the cold streak started in the first place...

also, all the offense will go through Kovie no doubt...

Either way, it is not certain that Hossa is gone in the first place.

In terms of the original message however, I would only consider the trade if additional +/- could help me in the standings more than G.
