Your defense is pretty solid as well as your team. In that deep of a league, you have an awesome team! Be patient with the players you have. One man does not make a team. Odds are you will have to give up too much to get Lidstrom. Generally, in deep leagues, a group of good players are better than one superstar player.

Take look at their stats. Granted that they play two different positions, Ovechkin is by far more valuable when playing in a H2H league. He can get him more categories by having O on his team.

Have you tried Langenbrunner/Pronger for him? it seems steep but you have Lupul on the IR so you'd have to drop a RW anyways so whoever you pickup will just be temporary.
