I wouldn't do it. Brodeur is a consistent 40 win guy, and you are giving up two d-man you can't replace, unless through trade. Sundin is good, but as you said, you don't need more centermen.

And Hartnell just looks like a throw in to me...I see no benefit in this trade for you.

I would say that this is a very uneven trade and you should hold on to your players. The guy needs to replace Hartnell with a solid d-man then you can talk...

P.S. I know who Hartnell is but the only reason he is ranked high is because of high penalty minutes. He will not keep this penalty minute production... he just flipped out a couple of games and therefore is a useless piece in this trade.

However Giguere for Sundin might not be a bad acquisition - then you would have some great trade bait at center.

Between Thomas and Broduer most of your goal tending should be covered. if need be could pick up Harding or Ellis of free agency for added insurance?
