Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I was interrupted playing NHL 08 for this offer
he gives me
my other goalies are Giguere and Tim Thomas, I am very deep in center with Ribeiro, Eric Staal, and Robert Lang, don't know if i need another one should I do this trade or no

well I counter offered switched the goalies and put Underrated (in both hockey and stats) Michal Rosival instead of Hartnell
so now the trade goes
ok, Hartnell who? I really doubt he will make your team better so we throw him out of the trade and get:
Sundin, Turco vs. Kaberle, Visnovsky, Brodeur.
I would say that this is a very uneven trade and you should hold on to your players. The guy needs to replace Hartnell with a solid d-man then you can talk...
P.S. I know who Hartnell is but the only reason he is ranked high is because of high penalty minutes. He will not keep this penalty minute production... he just flipped out a couple of games and therefore is a useless piece in this trade.
Smart move RiPped, I don't think your goal tending core is strong enough to with stand the loss of Broduer - not to mention the Dmen.
However Giguere for Sundin might not be a bad acquisition - then you would have some great trade bait at center.
Between Thomas and Broduer most of your goal tending should be covered. if need be could pick up Harding or Ellis of free agency for added insurance?
I wouldn't do it. Brodeur is a consistent 40 win guy, and you are giving up two d-man you can't replace, unless through trade. Sundin is good, but as you said, you don't need more centermen.
And Hartnell just looks like a throw in to me...I see no benefit in this trade for you.

the thing is im getting another center which i have too much off, and i have 4 d-men, all are doing good points scoring
and if i trade 2 of them there is none other good ones to replace them with and with this team I have been on such a roll
