My apple pie is messed up. What did I do wrong? I sliced the apples and mixed them with sugar and spices. I rolled out my pie crust and lined the pan with it and poured the apple mixture in it. I even put a pie crust on top and pinched the edges to make it look pretty. I put it in the oven for over a hour and still nothing. Is this Yahoo’s fault? Any explanation will do. My husband will never eat my pie now.
I'm not saying don't be #$%$ off or don't demand change. I'm not saying you need to be nice to someone who takes a dump on your yard or to anyone for that matter. I said something different than that. I think you'll see that in my post if you're willing.
I plainly admitted that my advise was self-righteous, so I can't argue with you on that. But I do think you're mistaken to reject ethical advise on the grounds that the person offering it isn't ethically pure. That's a good way to avoid ever having a good ethical conversation with anyone at all, which is to say, it's a good way to avoid looking at your own flaws along with other people's flaws. That's just another kind of self-righteousness, but one that is neither admitted nor likely to change.
