I agree, EV. The Rock is a driver's track. It's a track that brings out the best in good drivers and rewards them.
I was there in '98 (I think) and Dale Earnhardt never got a handle on the track and plowed all day. While Jeff Gordon used his open wheel experience to search out a fast line (which he did) and went on to win. It was a driving clinic.
A great track with a great owner now that deserves a shot. There are a number of current venues with two dates per season that should only have one.
