We are all watching the same race - just through the eyes of our own personal biases, LOL - we will see the same race, but we will see it differently to some extent....whenever anyone says, "If you look at it objectively", I think, - okay, that means, "I will now attempt to convince you that my personal biases are the logical, rational ones"....no human being can ever be TRULY Objective, because human nature is subjective - tho' some are better at it than others, perhaps....

I have watched replay after replay...

Still cannot find the angle that shows Gordon with a cut down tire before the crash. Have seen the good racing between Jimmie and Brad at Texas many times though. Lot more than a tap happened there... The difference? True Champions, plain and simple...

I've tried to make the point Jeff took himself out, many times. He never would have caught Clint if he had a tire going down. It didn't go down till he cut it on Clints right rear quarter panel.

i watched it again it dont look like he cut tire just lost too much momentum to catch him in 3 laps.unexcusable but dont hang the guy.
jeff being the great legend he is is probably tore up over all this.i bet he wont EVER do it again.im not even a gordon fan but i am a fan of legends in the sport that has done what he has done.he is going to be the next old timer to leave, mostly because i think mark martin will drive well into his 70's like morgan shepard,it will be hard to get use to it too.he has been in the spor since i started watching and this is the only time in all them years ive seen him do something like this.
