the 51 is a Hendrick related car, so Hendrick called Finch to ask about using Regan. Finch says yes. I was kinda wondering why Danica didn't get the 88 too, but she's running Kansas for Stewart and the 88 group probably wanted the same driver for both (or more) races. Letarte also said that Regan and Junior are about the same size, whereas Danica's a lot smaller, and the car would take more adjusting to get it comfortable for her vs. getting it comfortable for Regan.
