Fuel Mileage Race

This 500 miler at Charlotte has all the makings of a classic fuel mileage race. Temperatures will be much lower on Saturday night thus engines, tires and brakes will be not much of a factor.

I can see various teams trying to stretch their fuel to the end, with little or no chance of a late-race caution...unless Nascar throws their "phantom debris caution" with 5 laps to go.
