Dear Mr finch, I know you signed a 1 yr deal with Kurt. How'd that work out for you? 27 races with an ave. finish of 24.5 and 5 DNFs. My mistake,he missed 1 race, make that 26 races.Reutti drove the car once, and I believe finished respectfully without tearing up your equipment. I know when the season is over you will sit down with Kurt and several other drivers and decide where you wanna go from here. I really believe if I were you sir,That I would at least sit down and talk to AJ Allmendinger. He wasn't arrested for drug possession,or intent to distribute,or anything like that. Guide lines were set,he did his time, now he's on probation. Isn't that the way the system is supposed to work? I'm not saying hire him, just talk to him. I hope you stay in NASCAR as a team owner and continue to strive to get better with each and every coming year. GL
James Finch has already said that Phoenix Racing cannot afford to return in 2013 due to the cost of switching over to the new car without a major sponsor. Seeing that Kurt Busch, a past Champion cannot secure a major sponsor, I highly doubt AJ could at Phoenix Racing.
Before everyone flips out, let me explain myself. AJ's major problem is he has proven he crumbles under pressure. If a driver cannot handle the pressure of Penske Racing, Phoenix Racing is not going to be a good fit. My opinion on this has zero influence from the failed UA, but based on performance under pressure on the track.
