Wonder how many of our 20x,xxx contests got 3 points this week (Richmond) from qualifying

I like the "losers bracket" idea - I'm guessing you load up on the start-n-parkers in the C group - if one fails to qualify can you still start him or do you have to at least start those actually in the race :-p ?

    • It varies from league to league to my understanding. But try picking a bad A driver LOL Tony did me good when him and Kenseth took each other out at Bristol.

They must be on and Entry List and eligible at the time of the lock. No NE drivers may be started. Those seem to be the usual rules from those I have spoken with. My UnderAchievers team almost beat my regular team last week LOL. After all the attrition they ended up finishing pretty good for a 220 something.

      • Heh I'm guessing you went with Mark Green this week then? Again that sounds really cool and I'd definitely like to join in next year :-D

I did do something similar the last week of the first year I played (2008) - I was only in one league and actually had a huge lead (~250 points) going into Homestead so someone on the message board suggested attempting to get the fewest points - I don't remember everyone I picked but KuBusch was in the A group and he lived up to his reputation that season with a 43rd place finish :-p I know I also had Mikey but don't remember if he was a B or a C (think he was a B back then). My point total was like 110 and I "won" amongst the 4 who were playing :-D FWIW I still won my league by like 150 points as the 2nd place guy didn't do so great pickng "for real" ;-)
