Advice is a very dangerous thing!
I have 2 Truex, 3 Jr, and 3 Kahne.
With the exception of Gordon, Hendrick cars seem to have been struggling this week. Gordon wasn't the cat's meow in P1, but has been top 6 in Q, P2 and P3.
With the exception of P2 in which Jr was 3rd quick, he has been a little lack luster this week. But that doesn't count him out IMO. Jr. has been riding my bench and has not moved from it.
Kahne, while decent in P1, Q and P2, lost something in P3. *If* memory serves, and I didn't get to mind my P's and Q's as I normally would, he was one of the Hendrick vehicles who was having an issue trouble with tire rub in P3, same with JJ. Please consult others or a second opinion regarding that as my memory is not very good and I didn't get to watch as I would have liked.
In the NNS, another race that for the first time in a long time I missed this week, Kahne was involved in a wreck. Regrettably, I do not know more with regard to the circumstances. With one Kahne left and planning to use him at Charlotte, I would save him. But that is me, and that is my ***opinion***. I had Kahne starting until early this morning. When I woke up, I swapped him out for Truex.
With the exception of a poor Q run, Truex was top 8 in all three P sessions.
My line up last night was:
Start: 48, 5, 16, 43
This morning I changed it:
Hopefully, I do not end up kicking myself LMAO.
Good luck to you and everyone.
