What are your thoughts for C drivers. Most of them are worthless. Don't have many pics left on the good ones

      • I don't think Labonte is a bad choice Macy. Depends on where you are with starts left for C-Drivers. To make it through the season, you really need 4 solid good drivers in the C-Class. This season we lost Paul Menard to the B-Class. If you go by the numbers & where the drivers finish on average…Vickers is at 15th, Hornish at 20th and Almirola at 21st. Labonte averages in at 22nd.

Unfortunately, this season has brought down other C-Drivers (for various reasons) who use to have better finishes that are not as safe choices as they use to be …Mears, Reagan & Reutimann are falling into the 27th position.

Either way, GL on your picks this week :)

    • Lisa, I figured my final surge with the 22 & 43, they will be on my roster to finish the season. Vickers in the 55 will fill the two void starts at Loudon & Martinsville, with the 34 or 93 rounding out my C list bench at Homestead.

If you are out of Sammy & Aric starts, the 47, 83 & 93 should all finish in the twenty-fifth to thirty-third range at Atlanta... Not great, but not that bad considering.

    • I'm going with the 43 and....wait for it....83. 83 you say? Well, yes he actually has a halfway decent record on similar tracks. Then again, the one time I started him was at Pocono after he qualified 15th. He rewarded my faith by crashing in Turn 3 on the first lap and finishing 43rd :-\

    • I'll be using Almirola & B-Lab...Bayne never been there but he may also be worth a look..I am avoiding Hornish this week...the #43 ran well here last 2 yrs in a row and B-lab is just my Gut and the fact he has won here 6 times although that was along time ago on a race galaxy far far away....

      • Scoops, that is who I have. I'm hoping to start Bobby. He says it's one of his favorite tracks and agree Bayne has not raced here. Will use him later. Unfortunately I used Almirola when I didn't want to for Hornish and need to conserve him for later date. Thanks guys for the great response! Happy racing.
