    Da Jinx at Hotlanta...

With the recent NASCAR infractions at Michigan on the frame rails of the RCR #27, (which I believe to be a test of "can we sneak this past inspection?"), a Chase position slipping away, and the recent crew chief swap. I'm picking KHarv as the target of the dreaded Goat A lister jinx at Atlanta.

Kevin stated his focus has returned before his 15th place finish at Bristol. Really KHarv...? Really...? 15th at Bristol? A track once dominated by RCR? 15th is focused? Now onto the "searching for something"... If RCR is looking beyond the rulebook for an advantage, and NASCAR approving HMS' traveling rearend package, could RCR possibly try to duplicate the effort? That one is a hit or miss. Hit it and all goes well... Miss it and the Chase disappears. Not to mention RCR's slow learning curve on NASCAR's threats of fines and penalties. Reset to Loudon in the Fall of 2010. The RCR #33 team was warmedon numerous occasions of body mount locations, did they heed NASCAR's warnings? No. Did NASCAR destroy the #33's Chase hopes with the legal interpretation of their rules? That would be a resounding yes!

Prove me wrong, KHarv. I dare ya!

I would stay away from Sam Hornish Jr. also. His swagger and confidence were both shaken at Bristol. Try to hard in this sport and you will find yourself loaded up early, especially with the high speeds of Atlanta MoToR Speedway.

    • Couldn't agree more. With that said, will Tony implode after last week or gain much needed momentum at a track were he has had success in the past? Do you ever sleep??? Lol

      • I will sleep when I'm dead, Lisa... LOL!

I think things roll off Smoke's back like water off a duck. That's not to say those were idle threats fired across Matt's bow. Kenseth is who I would avoid until Tony finds another target for his wrath. I'm looking for Denny to step it up, with Darian Grubb at the helm of the #11 FedEx Camry. And of course the Hendrick contention.

Expecting the usual suspects at Hotlanta.

Now It's off to Kansas Speedway for the Goodyear tire test of the repave!!
