Ok. I have huge issue with this whole problem of Sam Hornish this last week. I had Sam Hornish in a my C driver. I checked on Friday after qualifying and it showed him as NE (No Entry). Ok, no issue, even though he was listed as starting by NASCAR, I figured since Kligerman was qualifying the 22 and we recieve points for qualifying there was some rule about Hornish getting points for the weekend. So I switched my driver. Over the next day and a half there was debate in our league if he should be run or not. I erred on the side of caution and did not run because after checking 20 minutes prior to the start of the race he was still listed as NE. Hornish then finished much higher than my other C driver costing me 13 points and first place in my league. Then, I recieve a message Hornish would be receiving points for the race. This is complete (to put it nice) mularky. Hornish was listed as NE and that is the way it should be. Especially, since the perception was created that he was NE after not qualifying and was listed NE the entire weekend even after the race had started. It's all or nothing. Either credit anyone with Hornish's points for the week, regardless of if he was on the bench or not or take away the points from anyone who had Hornish in. Right now I am being punished for staying on top my team and noticing late in the week that Hornish was listed as NE. Others in the league who just put in a team early in the week or let it ride for weeks on end and make zero effort to put in the best team each who just happen to have Hornish are reaping the benefits of not paying attention. This issue this past weekend must be addressed. People really got screwed by pulling Hornish based on the information Yahoo displayed. MAKE IT RIGHT YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel the same way. Screwed for following proper proceedure... He was listed as Not Entered! Plain and simple. He was entered, DUH! Yahoo or somebody, was WRONG. WRONG. It's a no brainer...

We can only work with the info we are provided and our info sucked. I agree, either everyone who had hornish in the starting or the back up position get points or no one does.

it was a risk reward thing. really the only thing that irks me is the error message that says I was going to get NO points for Sam Hornish. It wasn't worded in a conditional way, it was an absolute statement. They could at least word the warning so that it concedes the possiblity of an error on the part of their scoring. "Will receive no points , unless the driver starts".

I had the same problem, put Sam on the bench, but when I saw he was the driver of the #22 car just before the start of the race I changed hin back to my starting driver.

How can it be a debacle when there is nothing wrong going on? He started the race, he got the points for starting the race like he should, and if people didn't do enough research, that's on them and not anyone else.
