    The day the music died!

Dick bridged the gap between "us and them" as far as the music world went. He listened and heard. He knew what was needed and what was right. He allowed for the beginning of "the beginning of Motown". We can say that Dick Clark allowed it! You all just don't know how much of an influence he had on the music industrie. Ray Charles was the guy that allowed it all to come about, him and many others. Dick knew that this kind of sound needed to come out. Dick Clark said, that one of the best complements he ever recieved about how he came up in the music business, was how Chuck Berry was introduced to the next generation in the classic movie starring Micheal J. Fox. Back to the Future!
