    psssstttt...

I don't know if you remember Pritzi.....but in the very beginning, Tom Busch insisted that Kurt and Kyle sign with different teams.....that tactic was meant to "build their brand" in Nascar.....they both were obvious "can't misses" from the getgo!!!.....as in, if they were on the same team, they BOTH couldn't be the #1 priority.....so, to build their "clout", the old man steered them to different teams.....I maintain that if Nascar wouldn't have raised the entry age to 18, Kyle would have been a 16 or 17 year old Cup Series winner!!!....IMO, I don't think that's even up for argument.....the fact that Tom had a rule from the very beginning, that if his boys wanted to race cars, they had to be able to work on them first, shows he was thinking "long haul" even back then.....believe me, there is a "Busch Brothers Motorsports" Cup team in the NEAR future.....IIBTHAILYYNM.....Coccydynia "I got it right this time" Workin http://youtu.be/ruHm7IRkH-o

    • I really don’t know much about Tom Busch but from a marketing standpoint, having both of them build their own name separately is smart. I’m sure Tom figured that with all the talent his sons had they would make an impact on racing. In all the history of Nascar there are only 5 other brothers who have raced (Allisons, Waltrips, Wallaces, Labontes, and Burtons )….brothers racing in Nascar sure do have a powerful lineage!!!

What made me take notice of Kurt so much was the obvious “absence” of his wife Eva at the races in late 2010. Kyle & Samantha had been married in Dec. 2010 & Eva is nowhere to be seen….just seemed odd. Then the 2011 season begins & still no Eva. Some say she had issues with all the attention Samantha & Kyle were getting. The rumor mill was a buzz when Kurt appeared at a charity event in Vegas before the race (March 2011) without his wedding ring on….apparently he told his family then that it was over. I can’t blame him either….when they meet she was something like a bank teller & Kurt made her VP of his company after their marriage. She sure did seem to enjoy the $$$ & her VP position…IMO she should have been on the road with her husband & by his side for the races. Nascar is a unique sport in that it seems to keep tight-lipped about the private lives of the drivers & their teams. However, everyone knows divorce can take a major toll on anyone….Kurt really had a tough year in 2011. BTW….that “parting” from Penske sure did come at a convenient time too in the middle of a NASTY divorce….LOL (just something to think about too)

Kind of hard to figure out why their divorce is taking so long esp. since they have no children. One would assume it has to do with the legal aspects of her tied to his companies. He really can’t make any major acquisitions till it is over or for that matter sign any lengthy racing contracts due to the implications of her being entitled to half…..interesting that Kurt makes a “handshake” deal with James Finch for 1 year….if you catch my drift. Finch returned to the 2011 season after the sell of his team fell through at the end 2010. Interesting that Kurt is only tied into a contract for 1 year (long enough to finalize a divorce) with a man wanting to sell his team….call it a hunch…but I’m thinking an offer will be made to Finch when Kurt’s divorce is final…..

All in all…it is good to see Kurt happy again & Patricia sure is good for business. Like I said…that woman has major connections!!! Would love to find out more on how the Busch brothers snagged that lucrative sponsorship from Monsta Energy. IMO…I think Kurt & Patricia will marry and emerge as a power couple in Nascar. Time for me to get ready….have a good 1 Mojo :)
