"Smith has been improving pretty steadily - nothing earth-shattering, but "decent".
And, statistically, Fontana should be a good place to use Smith - while Menard and AJ did relatively poorly at the two-milers this year, Smith did relatively well - 19th, 21st, and 23rd.
But, the way Menard and AJ are running now, they should be a lot better here than in the past...."

"Hornish is pretty good here - 16th, 12th, and 23rd for his last three races at Fontana (from most recent back).
