According to the broadcast of the race and both yahoo and NASCAR.com's Lap-by-Lap A.J. Allmendinger took the lead during a caution on Lap 97. Can someone comment on why he wasn't scored bonus points for actually leading a lap? Maybe I'm missing something simple.

Perhaps he took the lead, but didn't lead the full lap - it happens sometimes - as of now, NASCAR.com has him scored as NOT leading a lap. So, it must have been changed after official review.

I understand the idea of taking the lead without completing the lap but not under a caution where you can't pass. Everyone in front of him went to pit and on the next lap he came in but didn't get credit for leading a lap. Carpentier stayed out for 1 lap longer and got credit for leading a lap.
Perhaps this is a question for NASCAR.com
