I don't mean to interrupt the talk of who hates who, who is gay or other important issues of the day, but thought I would talk a little Nascar.
The top ten in points were locked in on Sunday at Atlanta and Greg Biffle basically just has to start the next race and he is in the chase. That leave Clint Boyer to finish icing the cake. He has a 117 point advantage over Wreckin Man, Ryan Newman. If Boyer finishes 29th or better, he would clinch the 12th and final spot. Additionally, Richmond has been a good track for Boyer.
After Richmond the deck will be reshuffled and who is in the lead again? Jimmie Johnson, followed by Denny, Harvick and Kyle Busch. That being said, Richmond will be all about the win, nothing else really matters. This could make for a good race with Denny, Jimmie, Harvick and Kyle all strong competitors on this track. Tony also has been making comeback and would love to put another notch on his belt on Saturday.
Bottom line: Look for Richmond to be wrecker or checkers.
You are now returned to your regular programing. (I hate you, you're gay, you're an idiot).
Mr Ed, I figure Chad Knaus has a whole "stable" of brand new Chase cars that will be rolled out starting with New Hampshire.
Johnson....the one to beat, until proved otherwise.
The only Gayer I knew was a guy named Ronaldo Gayer who was a flaminco dancer down at the Copa Cabanga. Ay carumba
A shame we didnt see any first timers or new teams in this year.
Of the 12, 5 have 0 wins and 2 have one each. in fact only 3 drivers with 4 wins are not in the chase. Oddly Jeff Gordon leads the no win column in second place.
Looks like another HMS title

Jest remember, M - when giving one's subjective opinion, all thet is call for is one's own ideas.
However, when presenting A FACT for discussion, one needs to site one's sources.
Also, if one wishes to bring in a news article for discussion, one needs to...well, bring in the news article....
Geez, Roush - one quarter of the threads on this page are mine - and NASCAR related. And, in another NASCAR thread of someone else's origin, I jest argued thet Harvick will be Hero-or-Zero due to the Chase - an argument which you have Rightly and Smartly expanded to include all the Chasers but Clint Bowyer, who still needs to keep his nose a little clean.
Hey, I cain't do it all by myself out here, LOL.
Other than thet - Great Post!
I thought we would see a little more action from the guys in the top 5 in points these last few races. They were all but officially locked in for the past few weeks.
Leaves me to wonder whats up. Testing maybe, or saving money not using up top cars to get wins.
