" Negotiations have broken down between Walmart and Hendrick Motorsports about sponsorship of the No. 24 Chevrolet driven by Jeff Gordon.
However, NASCAR's new licensing body, the NASCAR Teams Licensing Trust, remains confident a deal will be struck to make Walmart the exclusive mass retailer for the sport's apparel."
When was as approx. 12 years old I was accosted at a car show by some idiot for waring my brand new Dale Earnhardt shirt. Ever since that accident, I vowed to never purchase or put on my body any NASCAR apparel. Quite frankly, the fans of NASCAR are it's only drawback.
And I would need to be dead to be found inside of a Walmart.
So its official, there is not a chance in hell of me ever buying NASCAR apparel, for any reason. Not even a gift.

Yea it will be DuPont,Pepsi, and National Gaurd. DuPont has been there with him since day one and will be there when he retires. And I can assure you Hendrick will find a new driver for DuPont. When that happens And Pepsi isnt going any where they have been there with him a long time and National Gaurd well they sponsor almost everyone so yea. He has good money backing him and will be fine with out Wal-Mart.
That will be hard to do when you have retailers out there that deal in nothing but sport apparel. And sell better quality that wal-mart can never match up to they just need to stick to hats and t-shirts which are poor quality and are way over priced anyways
Great more Chinese clothing at the track. LoL. I think it is a bad move for him to have wally world as a sponsor. What will that do for his rep. Can you see him in commercials for wally world? sponsorship deals all across the country. LoL. He would hate the deal. He is probably the breakdown. He don't want to meet and greets in wall world. he's been to the people of walmart website and saw what he would get himself into. LMAO.
