Awful lot of flat tracks in the chase that Harvick excels at....but so does the 48.

Should be a good battle. But I seriously want to see Johnson win 5 in a row and make a shambles of this stupid chase format and go back to a real championship format they once had. A guy who is 12th in points does not deserve a shot at a championship.

There is no one who would loved to see HMS dethrowned more than me. However, remember the day after Richmond the points get reworked and Harvick no longer has the lead. Who is in 1st? That rascal JJ. Now you need to look at the last ten race tracks and who is better on those tracks. Fact is JJ is strong on these tracks, that is why he is the champion. Carl had more wins than him a couple of years ago and only had one bad race in the chase. That race, Talledega, was enough to put Carl in the back seat.

Now that has no relivance to this year as JJ will not be given a championship, even if he does run for HMS. Still the fact remains that no one is better than this team at making adjustments on the fly. This may be Harvicks year, but I would not count any chickens before they are hatched.

Yeah I don't think Harvick will be there at the end honestly. I am almost positive he will fall off just like Tony did last year, Kyle the year before that and Jeff the year before that. I think this year is definitely Kurt's year seriously. He is picking it up on the flatter tracks, just needs to put some more solid finishes together on them and he will take the championship, by a landslide.
