General Message Board
In these hard economic times, when so many drivers are going un-sponsored or under-sponsored, I think it's great to see a new NASCAR team sponsor come on board.
So, I'd like to encourage NASCAR fans to visit
which sells car air-fresheners on-line.
They are sponsoring Casey Mears for Keyed-up Motorsports, a new team this year. Some say thet these small teams "clog up" The Sprint cup Series. But I like to see independents come on board when they are serious about racing. And, these guys came to race, not Start-and-Park.
Unfortunately, Keyed-Up MS only made their first race last week, after investing in a new engine. This week, because qualifying was rained out, they will not be racing again.
But, "Smell My Car" says they have been happy with the exposure they have gotten so far (the race announcers have mentioned them on-air and shown shots of the car) and will stick around for awhile.
Anyway, it looks to me to be a good, inexpensive product; and I intend to order some myself. If they are good, I will keep some on-hand for small gifts and Christmas "stocking-stuffers".
I think jest visiting their site and getting their "web-traffic" up would help encourage them to continue as a NASCAR sponsor.
I think that is so much like me Joanie....except that I remember during the height of racing....actually I wouldn't go to a sponsors' place just because I didn't like the driver!
I'm happy to hear you are helping to sponsor Nascar and I shall try to back Nascar as much as I can!
Cool, Ol' C! Course, I knew thet, LOL!
When the economy really started taking it's toll on NASCAR, and many cars started going un- or under- sponsored, I made a list of every NASCAR team sponsor - which I update regularly - ,and started making an effort to use them whenever possible. Of course, if one could not offer a competitive price or as good a service, I went elsewhere; but whenever possible, I use a NASCAR sponsor for Goods and Services.
Would be interesting to think about all the different sponsers that we actually do use in some way or fashion ... I'll have to give that think...
1st one comes to mind is FedEx, since that is who I work for !
