Cool, OR - good job, LOL!
I actually like it when the regs post fun stuff like this....
The other day, four GI-MUNG-OUS wild turkeys were in my back-yard (which is mostly forest), all male, with really long wattles, jest kind of scratching and pecking and wandering around. I stood there and watched them for about twenty minutes. I'd never seen anything quite like it - I see female wild turkeys around here, but never anything like this. I was so freakin' wow'ed thet I almost posted about it here, but my general ignorance of wild turkeys and fear of being laughed off the board kept me from doing so.
I wanted to learn to hunt wild turkey a few years back, and these guys looked like they feed a a family of fifty at Thanksgiving, with leftovers....but I settled for buying a pretty bottle with a picture of a Wild Turkey and some loverly dark amber liquid inside, and thet made me happy, too...LOL...
