it might just make target practice now. I thought about looking on E-bay for a parts one. broken screen. if it get it to fire it will stay on but today it has only flashed and then went blank. i see my desktop for about a second and a half. now after having it apart it won't even flash.

just called veiwsonic they told me i was wrong, it was 5 years old. i forgot I got it before my new pc, which is a dinosaur any way. only 2.2 GHz. LOL. It started 2 days ago with a weird sound like a capacitor struggling, then it would fire up. now there is just a popping sound coming from the right speaker. i took it apart to see it there was a contactor that i could clean or something. Nope! it was actually clean inside. I see heat traces but it looks like a board went out. man i hate to pull out that monster A$$ monitor that takes up my desk. I still have it though, because I can't F'ing get rid of it.
