When you're making your approach to release the ball, do you aim at the pins or the arrows on the lane?

I had a 653 series Tuesday night and our anchor bowler got his first 300 that night - it was a blast!

Today's the last day. Bowling is optional today so I won't have scores up.

There will be one-on-one matches tommorow and Wednesday. Thursday is the last day and also the day of the final and when we get our stats. Bowling is optional that day so I don't know if I'll bowl or not.

No team competitions today. Instead, we had scratch games, which are one-on-one matches against the person with the same average as you. My opponent didn't show up so I had a bye and had to get a score of 75 or higher to win. I had a tie the first game because my ball went into the gutter during my third turn on the last frame (you get three turns on the last frame if you get a strike or a spare; I had a strike on my first turn). Also, I would had four strikes if I had gotten a turkey (three strikes in a row).

Today was my best day for three reasons: 1. I beat my highest score, 2. Both of my scores were above 100, and 3. I found out that my team won both halves of the regular team competition in our division, which means we're getting a plaque and we don't have to take the final.

My team is first in our division but the other teams are not too far behind us so we have to keep it up.
