Did someone make a vague attempt at black-mailing Mr.Ed again....geez, someone jest has to try to bully the women and four-legged here.
Fortunately, MOST people cain tell the difference between fantasy fun and reality. And thet is a distinction the person behind Mr. Ed (OK, I admit it, I actually do think someone is typing with fingers instead of hoofs - but I admit it only for as long as it takes to make this post...then I go back to insistingthet The Love Of my e-Life is really a Wise and Wonderful Four-Hooved Noble Equine Critter) have always made - which is why I posted something on the board yesterday instead of emailing. The romantic relationship between The Southern Belle and The Horse is confined to this board and for entertainment purposes only....and I know it entertained both me and the man-in-my-real-life last year tremendously. And, those boundaries have been clearly and carefully established in real life. Thet aside, whatever friendship I have with "Mr. Ed" is our business and our business only, when it comes to off This Board. We don't "chat & tell", LOL.....
So, thet dog won't hunt...it's not like it was between a certain other person and someone named Lexis - but, I doubt the person whom attempts black-mail cain understand thet.
I do, however, have an e-friend here on this board, who uses an equine-identity here. And here, on this board, we tend to agree on things and have each other's backs. I have a number of e-friends here with whom I exchange jokes and pleasantries, and care a lot about...Buckey, Rhino, Bumper come immediately to mind. Never exchanged an email with any of them, but we chat and ask after each other's families, and have our own e-friendships here - much like a guy named MoToR and I once did.
A member of the "inner core" once said to me thet his best friends were ppl he had never even met face-to-face......We all have our e-relationships, and CAIN or cain NOT not have anything to do with our real lives...as Mr. Ed said, "When Real Life comes calling, this board means little". Well, it cain mean little and it cain mean a lot... for instance, I am looking forward to meeting up with Rhino and Buckey at MIS! - BUT in "Mr. Ed's" case, it meant little - and appropriately so - and don't think thet I am NOT fully aware of thet.
He is not defending me as a person as much as he is protesting a certain person's behavior and treatment of others - of which "Joanie Reb" am the most immediate example.
Now, when it comes to the "hospital waiting game" - it is a long and boring, but very stressful game. A person cain do very little but await an outcome thet is out of their hands. Unfortunately for Young Miss and myself, we have it down. The last real heart-attack, we stayed home for three hours before leaving for the hospital - we knew would not be allowed anywhere near the patient until he was out-of-surgery...like I said: been there, done thet, too many times. Young Miss has her own "Hospital Waiting Game Survival Package" - most of it stored in her sidekick - so she cain call frnds and have them come and hang out with her or take her out to get something to eat, or whatever. When you cain do NOTHING but sit and wait - even the TV channels in the waiting-room are set on CNN and cain't be changed - you find the best ways you cain to cope. If it is late at night, you do what you cain to occupy yourself and keep your spirits up.
