Since I have him in my ESPN league, you know I value him. That is a league were consistancy is more valuable then the Yahoo league. If he was in the B group, people would max him out in starts, but the A group is loaded with talent. He is a good bet at Daytona and doesn't DNF. Good Post Birdie.

I don't like Clint very much. Last year after he was wrecked after someone got into him, he automatically blamed it on Michael Waltrip saying, "Waltrip is the worst driver in NASCAR. I don't know why NAPA stays with him." Turns out, Michael wasn't even around him.

I was also an intern at PRN at Lowe's Motor Speedway in 2007 and Clint came in to record a :30 commercial about some giveaway Jack Daniels was sponsoring. It took him about 45 minutes to record :30 of a commercial. I though about signing him up for hooked on phonics.

He's having a good year so far, but to be honest, it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him fall out of the chase or better yet, out of the top 35.

Daniel, you are very into statistics, and thet is quite helpful to a lot of people. Your ability with them is outstanding.

But if you go by "heart" and "intuition", there are reasons to leave Clint on the back-burner, and wait to use him until he and his team have become more "defined".

Since we cain only use a driver nine times, some of us look to use each driver according to his proven strengths - short-tracks, road courses, restrictor plate races, etc. It is also best to use a driver when he is "hot" - and when is team has it's chemistry working routinely and well.

Clint is still a developing as a driver and right now has a relatively "new" team thet is still gelling. I prefer to wait to use him until I know more of his (and his teams) strengths and weaknesses.

I had Clint on my roster this weekend until the last minute, and wonder if I will regret changing.

Daniel, Birdie, or Tom - could one of you take this over to Tom's NASCAR/fantasy racing site? Please? I think this is an awfully good subject, and with all the BS going on at the Yahoo! site these days, would prefer to discuss the really good subjects there...don't want to hijack the post there without permission of the author, I'm sure one of you cain do it without it being considered "stealing".
