I haven't taken the time to read all of the previous responses that have been posted, but I believe that if you want to place blame on anyone the blame should be placed on NASCAR.

While Vickers did force Jr. all the way to the bottom and below the yellow line, wat was he supposed to do? lift and lose 10 to 15 positions. Not gonna happen when you are racing for your lap back.

The 2nd contact with Vickers was completely unintentional, Jr was simply as he said trying to get back in line while Vickers was in the process of getting his car straightened out from the initial contact, and lost a little momentum at the same time. Which explains why he was clipped and why at the same time Sadler went flying by both of them. When you have any kind of caontact at Daytona or Talladega you lose momentum and your car loses speed.

If anything both drivers were at fault. Quit blamming Jr just because you haters want more reasons to hate on him. Jr is always quick to admit when he makes a mistake and everyone should know that by now.

Anyway, that said the reason I say NASCAR should be the one we are all blaming is dates back to last year at Talladega when Stewart obviously forced Regan Smith below the line comming to the checkers. Nascar ruled that he was not forced and that he advanced his position while under the line. There is no way that he could have lifted or he would have"I guess next time I have to wreck him to make sure I'm not below the line."

I'm not saying tht Jr. intentionally wrecked Vickers by any means, but at the same time he couldn't continue to complete the pass under the yellow line or there would have been another penalty. He wasn't about to lift, but he knew that he needed to be back up on the track at the same time.

Okay last part and I'll stop B*tching. Vickers spotter should also get a good kick in the A** for not realizing and telling Vickers that when Jr. dove to his inside the car that gave him the push was Speed, Vickers teamate. Watch the replay, Speed does not follow Jr. to the inside, instead he does exactly what he should, trys to stay with vickers so they can team up and blow right back by Jr. who would have been stuck by himself.

Nascar's own rule book states that if a driver goes down below the yellow line - that driver cannot advance their position. It also states that the driver MUST blend back in traffic to avoid penalty. Amazing that you can wreck someone an avoid the penalty too...Doesn't appear that jr really blended. Looks like jr got the 27th position he really didn't deserve.Should have recieved a 5 lap penalty earning the 36th spot.

Maybe that's why all of you in the jr nation are blaming Vickers...because once again this year your man won't win a championship...Just riding on daddy's merits.

After watching the video again, it seems to me that Vickers was racing to keep the lucky dog, but I think Jr felt like he could get his lap back the hard way. He was trying to get around Vickers so he could stay out in front of Kyle.

"i lost alot of respect for jr after his interview" how lame, jr hadn't seen any video yet and was in the heat of the moment, jr's not proud of what happened this weekend, it was a bad day, let it go, we move one.

i lost alot of respect for carl edwards for real reasons, not post race interviews. like he shouldn't have accepted a win after cheating or he shouldnt' have tried to punch a teammateon pit road, those are reasons to lose respect for a guy, not a post race intereview right after a guy crawls out of a car.

I was at the Dega race when Vickers wrecked Jimmy and Jr on the last lap due to the fact he did not know how to pull out and follow someone, this is just another point that he is a 2nd class driver who not only dont know how to follow but he doesnt know how to block. JR was in the wrong last week and should have let off the gas not hook him.
