    Veto thoughts

    • I don't like the deal, but I don't think it's worth a veto. Duncan had an incredible year last year so his perceived value can still be pretty high, although I expect a drop off this year. So 2 middle of the draft type players for a guy who up through last year was an elite player seems perfectly fine to me.
      I honestly don't know which side you think is getting ripped off? Do you think Duncan is going to have a repeat year and be a 1st round value? Even then, maybe it still works for the other manager. Maybe he's stacked at PF/C and is willing to give up someone who IMO is very overvalued this year, for 2 guys that could really help them in 3's and steals?
      Or it could be the other way around. Maybe the other owner doesn't think Lin is going to stick with the starting gig, and might think Matthews won't be able to replicate his performance of past seasons, and is still high on Duncan as a good source of pts rebs and blocks?
      I honestly don't see how either side is so lopsided that it would need a veto. Different managers value players differently in general, and especially when they are trying to build their team a certain way.
