Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Which position is the weakest for this year fantasy basketball? Last year shooting guard may be the weakest position as they only have Wade, Kobe, George, Harden as the top tier player.. other than those 4 players, is just a little above average..
Small forward may be the next weakest position as only Durant, LeBron, George, Melo are the top tier players from last year.
Can anyone give any comments for this year draft?
SG and SF are both top heavy spots. I'm waiting to draft both those spots til later. It's not worth passing up on so many solid bigs and PGs just to get a slightly good SF or SG. After James, Durant, Harden, Curry, P George, Melo and Batum are off the board the healthy consistent talent takes a steep dive, especially at SG. Unless you land a starting PG that happens to have SG eligibility (this should make guys like Bledsoe and Hill more valuable in early/middle rounds). The good news is that there are some diamonds in the rough towards the end of drafts for these spots. I would focus on drafting a solid SF in the middle round if you don't land a stud early over using an early pick on a mediocre SG. Just don't pass up better talent just to fill a positional need, you can always trade later. Most SGs are generally the least valuable players in fantasy (lower dimes, boards, FG%, and blocks along with high turnovers) and I tend to pick them last and prefer them to play like PGs, or are 3 point specialists. Good luck.

Thanks Dillon for suggestion.
That's true and its not worth to passing up so many solid bigs and PGs.
Actually I'm in 10 team keeper league. There are 3 players that I can keep, the first two is no brainer.. Keeping CP3 and Steph Curry.. so I would have best player in the PG and SG position. The next guy that i'm thinking to keep is either Noah/Sanders/Batum. With many good big man in later round and not many good SF/SG, I would think to keep Batum over Noah/Sanders. What do you think?

Thanks Rebecca. I guess i have to get one good player in SG and SF than i can start drafting big men as there are so many good PF and Center will still be on the board - if the great big men is off the board.

With LeBron, KD, Melo and Gearge are off the board pretty fast, I am thinking about Batum and Kawhi as the next best small forward in the league. Kawhi is really good but he's playing for the Spurs where Pop will rotate their team as much as possible during regular season.
Do you consider another potential good player in SF post? or perhaps sleeper?
